iNUPC2025 - Call for Papers

Following the 27th National Urban Planning Conference, the 2nd International Urban Planning Conference (iNUPC) 2025 aims to bring together scholars, practitioners, and researchers from academic and professional backgrounds to share and exchange innovative ideas, research findings, and practical experiences in urban and regional planning. Furthermore, this conference will serve as a leading interdisciplinary platform for researchers and industry professionals to present and discuss the latest developments, emerging trends, key issues, practical challenges, and effective solutions.

EXTENDED ABSTRACT FORMAT

Authors are invited to submit their extended abstract and slide presentation through the submission system at https://nupc.graduate.utm.my.
Submissions must consist of the author’s original work and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for the e-Proceedings.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINE

1. Abstract

The abstract must be a single page (approximately 300 words, excluding the results). The submission link provides further details on the format.
Submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).
Only papers in English are permitted for upload.

2. Full Paper (for proceeding)

The full paper should comprise between 4 to 6 pages, including references.
Submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).
Only papers in English are allowed for upload.
Kindly download and utilise the provided template.

3. Poster

The poster must be supplied by the presenter attending the exhibition on 23rd June 2025.
It must be A1 size (one page) and include space for header and footer sections.
The poster must be submitted in English and in PDF format only.

4. Video

All virtual participants are required to submit a presentation video, which must be no more than 3 minutes long.
The video should include your presence, a voice-over accompanied by PowerPoint slides, or a combination of your preferred creative methods.
Each presenter must adhere to formal and tidy dress code etiquette. The presentation must be in English, with a clear voice and audio, and subtitles are COMPULSORY.
The video should not contain background music to avoid unclear presentation audio.
The first slide of your presentation must include all relevant information about the presentation, such as the title of the paper, the authors' names, and their universities. The submission must be in MP4 (.mp4) format, with dimensions of 16:9 (Landscape).
All submissions should be made via the provided QR code.

PUBLICATION

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a thorough peer review process conducted by qualified reviewers. The accepted manuscripts will be published in the e-proceedings (e-ISBN), and a link to the e-proceedings will be provided on the website at a later date.
