iNUPC2025 - Call for Papers

Following the 27th National Urban Planning Conference, the 2nd International Urban Planning Conference (iNUPC) 2025 aims to gather scholars, practitioners, and researchers from both academic and professional fields to share and exchange new ideas, research findings, and practical experiences in urban and regional planning.

Furthermore, the conference will serve as a leading interdisciplinary platform for researchers and industry professionals to present and discuss the latest developments, emerging trends, key issues, practical challenges, and implemented solutions.

EXTENDED ABSTRACT FORMAT

1. Authors are invited to submit the extended abstract and slide presentation through the submission system at https://nupc.graduate.utm.my

2. Submission must be of the author’s original work and should not have been published previously or under consideration for publication while being evaluated for the e-Proceedings.

3. Please download and use the template provided on the website.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINE

1. Abstract

The abstract must be 1 page only (approx. 300 words, does not include Result). Further explaination on the format is specified in the link submission
The submission must be in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
The paper is only allowed to be uploaded in English

2. Full Paper (for proceeding)

The full paper should be between 4 to 6 pages, including references
The submission must be in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
The paper is only allowed to be uploaded in English.
Please download and use the template provided.

3. Poster

The poster should be provided by presenter that attend for exhibition on 23rd June 2025.
The poster must be A1 size (one page).
It should also include empty space for the header and footer sections.
The poster is only allowed to be uploaded in English language.
The poster should be submitted in PDF only.

4. Video

All virtual participants are required to submit presentation video.
The duration of video is allowed to be 3 minutes(maximum).
The video should include your presence, a voice-over with PowerPoint slides, or a combination of creative methods that you prefer.
Each presenter must adhere to formal and neat dress code etiquette.
Presentation must be in English, with clear voice and audio and the use of sub titles is COMPULSORY.
The video should not include any background music to prevent unclear audio of your presentation.
All information about the presentation such as title of the paper, authors’ name and authors’ university must appear on the first slide of your presentation.
The submission must be in MP4 (.mp4)

PUBLICATION

All submitted forum papers will be peer-reviewed by our reviewers. The accepted papers will be published either in the forum e-book (ISBN) or e-proceeding (ISBN) depending on the recommendation of the reviewer panel.
