The International Urban Planning Conference (iNUPC) 2024 is the first student international conference on sustainable urbanization. 

The International Urban Planning Conference (iNUPC) was established by the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to examine one of the most pressing issues facing the nation today: rapid urbanization and its impact on communities, cities, economies, climate change, and policies. 


The 1st International Urban Planning Conference (iNUPC) 2024 in continuation of 26th National Urban Planning Conference is co-organized by the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Centre for Innovative Planning and Development (CIPD), and the Urban and Regional Planning Student Association (PEWIBAWA) in UTM. The purpose of iNUPC 2024 is to unite the best minds and organizations to discuss how to tackle the urban challenges that are faced by our cities.

NET ZERO EMISSIONS BY 2050 

What is Net Zero Emission by 2050?

 A normative scenario that shows a pathway for the global energy sector to achieve net zero CO2 emissions by 2050, with advanced economies reaching net zero emissions in advance of others. This scenario also meets key energy-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular universal energy access by 2030 and major improvements in air quality.
